Beautiful Amsterdam
On our second full day in Amsterdam, Marc and I continued our sightseeing in the city. I have to say, Amsterdam is so pretty. I sure was glad to be back and in fact, I plan to return in the very near future. Next time I come back, I would certainly love to explore the country more in the summer time when the days are long and the temperatures are high. That way, we can spend more time outdoors and get to see more in broad daylight.
On this day, we had breakfast at the nearest McDonalds then walked around the Red Light district for a few hours. Then we took the tram to the Rijksmuseum.
This was right along the Damrak in front of the Central Station. This is the beginning of the long street where stores and restaurants are located. This leads to the square where the Royal Palace is situated.
I found this café very colorful. If I am not mistaken, this is a cannabis club in the Red Light District.
