It's hard to believe I let two months go by without completing my blog about my Christmas trip to Northern Europe. I used to be good and conscientious about it. I think Instagram is the culprit. I have been doing too much of it. Anyway, before, shortly after my arrival from any trip, off blogging I went and was actually done with the entries very quickly. I realize this is really more important to me than any other media there is. So here it goes.
On our very first full day in Amsterdam, Marc and I went for a walk around town. Nowhere far really. The sightseeing was like a walk down memory lane for me. I remember many sights, sights I had taken pictures of, but I must confess, the city has changed a lot. Nevertheless, it was nice to be back!
In front of the Royal Palace. My home away from home. Just kidding folks, for the second time, I did not go inside for a look. What a pity! Perhaps when I return.

A scene at the Amsterdam Flower Market.
These tulips were so beautiful!!! Taken at the flower market.
I saw this watercolor painting and I found it extremely pretty. I didn't care to ask for the price. I should have had. It could have been affordable.
A street scene. Love the canals!
Bikes sure were everywhere in Amsterdam!
I must have gained a few pounds eating these delectable delicious Dutch cookies called stroopwaffles. I purchased 10 cans! Oh yes! 10!
Lovely present!
