The IBIS Liberdade Lisbon

6-Aug-2018 • Lisbon Portugal

The IBIS chain of hotels has been such a big help to us every time we travel to Europe. With its reasonable room rates, we have been able to travel two to three times a year without breaking the bank.

In fact, every time we go anywhere, we check and see if there is an IBIS we can stay at first. This chain's hotel rooms are not as expensive as many hotels. To date, we've paid as low as $50 to a high of $150 for a room for two people a night. More often than not, it's been less than $100. What we also like about IBIS is that many of their hotels are right next to train stations and some very accessible to the airport with free shuttles. We love the ones which are right in the city center.

When my partner and I travel, we really sightsee the whole day and we hardly stay in the room except to sleep and rest. IBIS rooms are clean and their beds are comfy with clean and crisp sheets.

Our hotel in Lisbon, the IBIS Liberdade, a few steps away from the elegant Liberdade Avenue full of shops and boutiques in the Portuguese capital. So close to the main sights and attractions. We couldn't be happier.

I have to say, the IBIS Liberdade is the nicest IBIS hotel we've ever stayed in. So hip!
