Abraham Lincoln's top hat. Never in a million years did I think I would one day see this. I've read a lot about this hat and how Pres. Lincoln often kept notes and letters in it. On exhibit at the Museum of American History.
The historic Ford Theater. Marc and I returned to this theater and museum a day after we stumbled upon it while walking around the city center. It was here where Abraham Lincoln was shot and killed one night while watching a play.
This was the box where former United States President Abraham Lincoln often sat with his wife Mary Todd every time they went to watch a show at the Ford Theater. It was also here where he was fatally shot.
The Peterson HOuse where Abe Lincoln eventually died after being shot inside the Ford Theater across the street.
This was one of the exhibits inside the museum opposite the Ford Theater. Going to the Ford Theater allowed us to visit this bookstore and museum as well.
