While we were in Dubai, I was 100% sure I had to see the famous Burj Al Arab, the seven star hotel I had only seen on TV and in glossy travel magazines. Well, see it we did. Actually, we did together with hundreds of other tourists, bus loads to be exact, as we took pictures of this iconic Dubai building right by its entrance to the hotel grounds.

We took several shots and then we left. There really wasn't any reason to linger since the place was off limits to people who weren't guests of the hotel. I had read somewhere that you were allowed to go inside the premises if you wanted to have afternoon tea inside. We didn't make any reservations though, and so it was click and go for us. Perhaps next time.
