The Ibn Battuta Mall

6-Jan-2018 • Dubai Dubai

Marc and I had to pack a lot in during our last two days of sightseeing in Dubai. Right after seeing the Burj Al Arab, off we went right away to the Ibn Battuta Mall which was listed in our guide as a good destination to visit. What set this mall apart from all other malls all over the world was the design of its interior. I say it was spectacular. The Iranian courtyard was amazing.

There was a Carrefour here too which is where I bought several boxes of local treats to take home. I bought some Baklava, Halawa, and dates. I took a total of four boxes home and I have no one else to blame for my weight gain because I ate everything upon my return to the US. Yes, folks, you read it right. Marc went on a business trip for a week and by the time he returned from work, the boxes were empty!!!

Inside the Ibn Battuta Mall! What a sight!

This was one wing of the mall which had an undoubtedly Arabian theme.
