To friends and followers of my blog, my apologies for not uploading anything at all for days. Truth to tell, it was not work that got in the way of my uploading this time. It was the sheer number of pictures I took inside the museum. I had to go through many of them, choose what I wanted to include in this post, and then label. Thus the delay. Anyway, I don't think it is going to take a long time from here on out in posting. Enjoy and I hope you like my pictures.
The Art Institute of Chicago was indeed awesome. One of the best museums I've ever seen. It was big and its art collection truly awe inspriring. One can literally spend at least half a day getting lost in its numerous galleries featuring masterpieces from all over the world.
This was my second visit to the museum. The first one took place 16 years ago though and I just had to visit again. It was worth every penny I paid for admission.
The gallery featuring American painters was my hands down favorite here.
