I was born in the Philippines which prides itself of some of the most beautiful rice terraces in the entire world. Unfortunately, I never got to see them while I lived there and it took me a lifetime to see some. It finally happened last month while Marc and I were on spring break in Bali. I must say they were quite a sight. I suppose all visitors who were there and not just us were in awe. The Tegelalang rice terraces were the first of two rice terraces we saw during our stay in the island.
