Care for Some JFC?
We saw this sign while in Ubud. It was a hoot. Certainly the idea came from our Colonel Sander's KFC back in the United States.
I must say, the locals loved eating fried chicken in Bali. In fact, fried chicken was sold in many places not just in this JFC chain. Of course, KFC is the ultimate favorite here. Even McDonald's sold fried chicken. Don't laugh, but we had fried chicken in both KFC and McDonald's while we were in Kuta. They were delicious. The first time we went to try out the KFC in Bali, the restaurant actually ran out of chicken. We had to leave hungry. They served the chicken with rice wrapped in paper. At first, we asked for utensils. Later on we realized though that neither fork nor spoon was necessary since the rice they gave us was sticky enough and they didn't crumble. Oh what memories!!!
The meal was pretty cheap too!
