More of Our First Day in Singapore

Looking at all the pictures I took while on vacation in Singapore and Bali really makes me wish I was still there. One friend on Instagram even said and I quote "All things must come to an end." Honestly, I wish all things that gave us so much joy and pleasure never did.

This was the tiled roof of the Chinese Buddhist Temple next to our hotel in Bencoolen.

This, on the other hand, was at the Indian Hindu Temple right next to the Chinese temple.

Orchard Road, the upscale section of the Lion City popular for its shopping and dining

The people on Orchard Road the day we arrived. It was a Sunday and lots of people were hanging out at the malls. I found the whole atmosphere very festive. I loved it.

I wonder who this guy is?

Marc, my partner, and I met up with a friend at Din Tai Fung for lunch. It was a first for us at this famous restaurant chain scattered all over Asia.

Who can resist the ice cream sandwiches selling for $1.20 (Singapore Dollars). I certainly couldn't. I had the durian flavored ice cream here every time we visited. Sometimes even two in a day.

Here's my favorite, the durian flavored ice cream. I truly cannot grasp why people think durian smells like the toilet. I smelled the actual fruit a hundred times and I just cannot get it. It certainly tastes like heaven to me. Yum, yum!

Yes, they are all mine!!!
