Seeing Singapore for the Third Time

18-Apr-2017 • Singapore Singapore

On my third visit to Singapore, I was determined to see a lot of the city. It had been nine long years since we were here last and new attractions had sprung up. This time around, I was truly mesmerized by the Lion City. Unlike before when I found it modern yet simple, this time, I found the city bursting with color. There were definitely lots to see.

This was taken at a Hindu temple just a block from our hotel, the IBIS at Bencoolen.

Orchard Road, the afternoon we arrived. It was a Sunday and the place was bursting with people. The atmosphere was festive.

Marc and I had visited this cross street to Orchard Road years ago. What made this small street stand out from the rest was its rows of old and colorful houses from eras past. They had obviously been renovated and modernized. The look was just amazing. It screamed uniquely Singapore!
