Visiting Wat Pho in Ayutthaya last December was my first. I didn't even realize it existed. I had heard of Wat Pho in Bangkok. In fact, we even visited it just a few days earlier. What sets this particular monument from its counterpart in Bangkok is its closed eyes as pointed out to us by our guide.

This statue was huge alright. It was a challenge to fit the whole monument in just one shot. Getting a picture of it without photo bombers was a challenge as well. Anyway, we did what we could. Overall, we were quite pleased with our visit to this part of Thailand. There sure were lots to see.
