On our very first night of vacation, Marc and I met a friend from Korea who resides in Tokyo. It was a quiet Sunday night and it was nice to catch up with Hajin Bae whom we met on our flight from Miami to San Francisco last April. We were all seated together on the long six hour flight and we all chatted along making the otherwise long and tedious flight an entertaining and quick one.

This was the Christmas scene inside KITTE Mall in front of Tokyo Station. I must say, for a country that doesn't celebrate Christmas, there sure were tons of Christmas décor everywhere in the city. But hey, I love Christmas and I'm not complaining!
