Hello Jersey (Channel Islands)

9-Jul-2015 • St. Helier Jersey

Just to let you know beforehand, Marc and I took the pictures of the Jersey airport shortly before we left the island for London's Stansted airport. We had time to spare after check in and so we explored the area a bit and reminisced right there and then. This also explains why there were no people in the arrivals area of the original Jersey airport building where we arrived two days earlier.

We retraced our steps right from the time we got off the plane and claimed our suitcase from the baggage carrousel. Although Jersey and Guernsey no longer form part of the UK, no one stamped our passports upon our arrival.

Hello Jersey!

Just so you know, the departures from Jersey airport take place in the new airport building while this arrivals area is located in the old and original Jersey airport building.

Marc and I made our way to the Jersey capital by boarding Bus No. 15 right outside the airport. Fare per person was 2 pounds to St. Helier's city center. It was so well organized and safe.
