When Marc and I were in Beijing, one place that we loved eating in was Ajisen Ramen for its delicious soup.

I was pleasantly surprised to find out that this restaurant opened a franchise here shortly after our trip to China a few years ago. Located in the basement of the Nordstrom Mall along Market Street, I don't think I have ever seen the place empty. There is always a line of customers waiting to be seated.

Since we got our tickets to watch Annie, the musical, quite early, we decided to have lunch here. The food hit the spot.
