I saw this statue of a Golden State Warrior basketball player outside the Golden Gate Grill sandwiched between the Bank of America Building and Walgreens along Powell Street last Sunday. I didn't really get all the fuss until today. I had heard of the Golden State Warriors but I actually had to google it to find out.

I'm embarrassed to say it but I really didn't know it was the basketball team based in Oakland. I am not into many sports you see. Anyway, congratulations to this team for winning their game at the Oracle Arena in Oakland tonight. I saw the news coverage of the game from the stadium tonight and I was blown away by the yellow worn by all the fans. Pretty impressive I must say.
