They Grow Up So Fast

I have always known one thing for sure. I knew I wanted to travel and see the world right at a very young age. If I had to live my life all over, I would love to have lots and lots of babies too. If I were asked whether I would make a good parent thirty years ago, I would probably have said no. Today, however, I have no doubt I would make a darn good parent. I would be as respectful, loving, caring, and nurturing as I am to my students year after year.

I have three grand nieces. I am proud to say, all are very, very smart. The eldest has recently graduated from college here in the US. The second one in high school is so into the sciences and plans to attend undergraduate studies here in California, while the youngest pictured here with me is about to enter the equivalent of middle school in Manila.

I can't believe this was taken over 10 years ago. This cute little one has grown into a very intelligent young woman. She's turning into a budding world traveler herself. Her parents have already taken her to the US, Hong Kong, Singapore, France, and Japan.

Hello!

What are you looking at up there?
