Some Filipino Food Favorites

20-Apr-2014 • Manila Philippines

Jollibee is the Philippine counterpart of McDonalds. It is here where I eat my favorite meals like Palabok and lumpia.

Whenever I am in the Philippines, I come here all the time. The food is truly delicious and very inexpensive to boot.

Lumpia, the Philippine style spring rolls which have become a hit not only among Filipino expats but Americans as well in the US

The Aristocrat is another Philippine chain of restaurants that is popular among the locals. Marc and I always make it a point to come here everytime we come to Manila to visit.

I can't help it. Palabok is really my most favorite Filipino food. It may not hit the spot for 99% of foreigners who visit the Philippines, but I am basically a local and I LOVE IT!
