A Jewish styled centuries old building in Salamanca's city center. I passed by this residence every single day every day while I studied in Salamanca in 2003 and 2004. How time flies!

A side view of the Cathedral of Salamanca which houses the old church structure in the new one. It may be a bit complicated to understand, but when you get to visit the cathedral, it will all make sense.

Inside the University of Salamanca

This used to be one of the classrooms of the University of Salamanca centuries ago.

My last day at the university. By this time, a few classmates from the US East Coast had to leave a few days earlier to make it to the first day of their school year. It was both joyous and sad to me. I was definitely happy that my studies were over but sad since I knew I was no longer going to see the friends I made there. Every single day I was in Salamanca, I was thrilled to be enrolled in a Master's program in Spanish in Spain's foremost university at that. In the two summers I spent here, I made lots of close friends, mostly from New Jersey and New York. There were only three students from California in my batch. The other two were Chilean Americans from Palm Springs.
