When asked if I was interested in joining a group of Filipino teachers going to Segovia for a day long excursion, I accepted right away. There was no way I was going to turn down the chance to see another Spanish city. Thus, one weekend in May 1988, off we went. It is said that the Sleeping beauty castle in Disneyland was patterned after the Alcazar of Segovia. Anyway, besides the castle, the aqueduct here in this city was its other famous landmark.
How beautiful is this landmark? What architecture! What structure!

That's the Alcazar right behind me. What do you think? Does the Disney castle really resemble Segovia's Alcazar?
