The Spanish Steps and the Shopping in Rome

27-Dec-2013 • Rome Italy

Walking around Rome was simply AMAZING! I liked the Spanish Steps a lot. However, the shopping streets in front and around it were even more fun.

I just couldn't believe the crowds of people gathered there over the holidays. There just seemed hundreds of thousands of people everywhere. To think, Marc and I visited Rome during the off season. It just didn't look it. You be the judge looking at these pictures. I can just imagine how it must be during the summer months when even millions gather here.

Gelato. We had this several times during our stay. I had crocanti, zabaione, mint, chocolate, and other flavors from Rome to Florence.
