Our Last Day In Singapore

16-Oct-2013 • Singapore Singapore

On our last full day in Singapore, Marc and I felt that we had seen and visited almost all the sights we wanted to see. Thus, on our last day, we decided to take things easy and just walk around the areas we liked a lot once again. Thus we went back to the waterfront where the gigantic Merlion stood and walked around Marina Bay.

The Merlion

Here I am taking one last walk by the Merlion, the iconic symbol of the country

A view of the Singapore skyline

A very modern city, Singapore is replete with absolutely tall buildings everywhere.

Taken inside the Esplanade. I had seen these statues of laughing men in a TV program about China. These were the creation of a famous Chinese artist and I just had to have my pictures taken with them.

The Singapore History Museum

I loved visiting the Singapore History Museum. It was my first exposure to the unique Peranakan culture
