Me in front of the former Presidential Palace now called the Reunification Palace in Saigon, HCM.

The Reunification Palace, formerly the Presidential Palace up until 1975

This was one the tank the Vietcongs used to enter the Presidential Palace one day in 1975 that ended the US-Vietnam War for good.

A side view of the Reunification Palace as we approached it for a tour of its interiors and gardens.

Although the Palace was officially the residence of the South Vietnamese President back in the day, it was no doubt also headquarters for fighting the North Vietnamese for many, many years. Our tour of the Palace showed many rooms used to plan and fight the war.
