The Marriott on Orchard Road
For our weeklong stay in Singapore, we stayed at the swank Marriott Hotel on Orchard Road. Located in the heart of Singapore's shopping district, malls big and humongous were right on our doorstep. Unlike many cities in Southeast Asia, Singapore is expensive. We lucked out on this trip since our weeklong stay in this hotel was free thanks to the hotel points Marc had accumulated on his business trips.
We stayed in the Executive floor of the hotel. Our room was #2708. Because of Marc's status with the hotel chain, we had access to the Executive lounge for breakfast in the morning as well as Happy Hour in the afternoon every single day of our stay. We couldn't be any happier. The food was fantastic.

Around the time we came here, Marc had been planning on getting the bathroom in our home in San Francisco renovated. The bathroom in our suite provided some ideas.
The entire bathroom was covered in marble. It not only covered the walls around the tub but the toilet too.
