Our Second Caribbean Cruise
Marc and I first went on a cruise last 1997. It was a Southern Caribbean cruise with Carnival Cruise Line's MV Tropical. I don't think the ship still sails today. Anyway, we had so much fun then, we decided to take another one during Christmas of 2000. It was just for a week and this time we were sailing with the Costa Cruise Line. We chose to sail with them primarily because of the ship's itinerary. Out of the week long sailing, there were only two days at sea while the rest were spent at port somewhere in the Western Caribbean.
We were really hopeful the cruise would at least equal or even surpass the first time we traveled on a ship.

We were traveling on a very tight budget then and we settled for an indoor cabin to cut costs.
Here I am happy and excited to be traveling to the Caribbean once again.

Folks, this was not our ship. We took a picture of this ship as it was sailing out of Miami roughly the same time ours was. It was very close to where our ship was berthed at.
