Our ship, the Costa Victoria, berthed in Nassau on Christmas Day
Nassau in the Bahamas was our first port stop. I had long wanted to visit this island country. Even though we were drenched in rain for practically the entire time we were there, we were impressed with the city. It was elegant and cosmopolitan, and it likewise had a strong British flair.

The popular Atlantis Resort and Hotel
The Altantis Resort and Hotel had a fantastic pool area. It had a Mayan theme to die for. I wouldn't mind coming back to spend a weekend here.
