Nowadays, whenever Marc and I travel anywhere in the world, we travel independently and shun package tours. We find tours very restrictive and spend most of the day traveling on buses thereby losing valuable vacation time. On our trip to France, however, we joined a package tour by US run Globus Tours. This was actually last one we joined.

We met some very lovely people on this trip. There were teachers from New York and Maine, another New York couple composed of a teacher and her Investment Banker husband, a female court judge from Texas, a Philadelphia lawyer, two rich Miami Cuban American teenagers sent on the trip on their own by their parents, some Vietnamese couples residing in Sydney, and some Australians tourists.
