The Royal Castle in Warsaw's Old Town

Had we known it was the day when everyone could enter the castle and museum for free the time we first set eyes on it, we would have joined the long line of tourists waiting to get in. To think, it was raining heavily too. We could have saved ourselves from getting wet had we decided to seek refuge from the heavy downfall. Anyway, we eventually visited it the day before our departure for Amsterdam and the castle did leave us impressed. It was a gem of a place!
