I first saw the Adlon Hotel last 2012, during my first ever visit to Berlin. I had already heard a lot about it then. If this was the hotel US Presidents stayed at whenever they visited the German capital, I realized it must be very upscale and expensive. It exuded old world charm for sure.

There was a new floral arrangement every day we were in the Adlon. Fresh flowers no less for its guests and patrons.

The brand name of the beautiful and pricey perfume we saw at one of the gift shops inside the Adlon.

We enjoyed walking through the small passage lined with gift shops. This was one shop selling bottles of perfume at astronomical prices! Krigler Perfume! The merchandise sure looked lovely.
