On our third full day in Mexico City, we took UBER once again to travel to Coyoacan specifically to see Frida Kahlo's home turned into a museum. Since all tickets to the museum were sold out until May, we were content just the same with seeing her home called the Blue House.
Once again, I cannot emphasize enough the affordability of UBER rides in Mexico City. Despite the distance, we paid less than the equivalent of $20.
We took pictures of the Blue House and then walked over to the city center. We got to visit the Cathedral, bought some molinillos (wooden Mexican whisks) at the Coyoacan Market, and then had buffet lunch at Sanborns at the city square.

Frida Kahlo's home turned museum. We were rather disappointed we didn't get any admission tickets. The tickets were all sold out until the middle of May.

The religious artwork here reminded me of the paintings I bought in Peru.

The Mercado Artesanal de Coyoacan. It was here I bought my first molinillos or wooden Mexican whisks. I regretted not buying a lot when I returned to the States. They cost three times the price in Mexico City. They make for artsy kitchen decorations bunched up and placed in a big clay jar.
A fountain in the city square. It was in this square where we had brunch. We went to the elegant SANBORNS once again and tried their buffet breakfast/lunch. The food was filling but not as tasty.
What else? The city sign
Here I was checking out the molinillos or wooden Mexican whisks that the lady street vendor was selling. I didn't buy any from her. Her molinillos were either chipped or broken. Too bad.
