On our second full day in Budapest, Marc and I woke up early to head to Heroes' Square. It was a very spacious area where other attractions like the Museum of Fine Arts, the posh Andrassy Avenue, the Vajahunyad Castle, the Chapel in Jak built in 1896, the Hungarian Agricultural Museum, and the statue of the Anonymous could be found.

Despite our very early visit to Heroes' Square many other tourists from all over the world were already at the site checking out the premises.

Every time I think about the Szechenyi Baths, it is the yellow color of the building I am reminded of.
The lobby of the baths
We were there very early and the place did not only seem empty, it really was. Shortly thereafter, a few elderly locals started to arrive. The baths must really be good for the body since a few of the people we saw looked sick and limping. A day after our first visit, we passed by the baths once again and the line of people wanting to get in was long. In fact, some people were no longer allowed to enter. The baths were just too full.

From the Szechenyi Baths, Marc and I walked around the area some more and saw the site of the Hungarian Circus in Budapest.
