Happy New Year everyone!  I find it hard to believe that 2019 is over.  It seemed just like yesterday when we all welcomed 2019 and here were are in 2020, another new year.  I cannot complain though.  Every year is a blessing.  I hope the next twelve months will be peaceful and prosperous for all of us.

Just like every time this year, I go to church to give thanks and ask for guidance and continued blessings.  It's something I've done for ages.  It's what my family has done and it has become a tradition we all follow.

Unlike in previous years, all I ask this year is good health.  Yup, I've reach that age when material things don't seem to matter as much as one's own physical well being.  When I was younger, I often heard people older than me state that good health was all they wanted.  Many even used the cliché, Health is wealth.  Now I can totally relate.

Thus, speaking of being good health, I have vowed to return to the gym and work out more regularly.  I have been going these past years.  I just haven't been going as often as I should.  Hopefully by the end of 2020, not only will I reach my desired weight but have a fit body too.

Happy new year!
