I like many world airlines. I have flown many in all the years I've been traveling. I do have my favorites and Lufthansa is one of them.

I find it very similar to US carriers. They are a no frills airlines but they do the job right. I actually feel at home every time I fly with them and I know I am in good hands.

I used to dislike flying through Frankfurt. But since many of my tickets are free and purchased on miles, I have no choice but to go through here. I used to dread having to go through its security even though I just went through one in the city I departed from. Add to that, I didn't really leave the confines of the arrivals hall each and every time I had layovers. I remember those days of long arduous lines. Fortunately, those days are gone.

I was here again last July 2, 2019 and had the chance to visit their lounge since I have status with United and Star Alliance. It was quite a pleasant experience. Food was plentiful and tasty and the joint quite posh. Add the well dressed German passengers on business and what a thrill it was to be there! Ha!
