The original Olympic Stadium in Athens

Although the stadium was big and spacious, it was quite a challenge taking pictures. There were so many tourists around each one with a camera and anxious to take pictures of the building. It was a bit frustrating actually. Couple that with the over 40 degree Celsius heat, I didn't get to take many here.

This monument stood close to the stadium. It was hard to decipher who it was dedicated to though since the inscription on it was only in Greek.
