The very last attraction Marc and I got to visit on our last day in Paris was the Pompidou Center. It being New Year's Day, we didn't expect the museum to be open. Instead we went to see the art around it. I had seen the water fountains here on TV before. Unfortunately, the fountains were not on that afternoon but we did get to see the very colorful artwork. I even got to see the Dali face painting on a huge wall. I had seen it on IG a few days prior to leaving for Europe and I wanted to see it for myself.

I was not sad to leave Paris. Instead, I felt grateful to have been able to return and see the magnificent city of lights once again. I hope to return someday soon.
