Of all the sights in Paris, the Arch de Triomphe is my favorite. I find it so majestic and so elegant. I had pictures of myself taken in front of it before but I never really liked the way they all came out. It was quite a task taking one with the hordes of tourists around it. We had to return to the site, choose an empty spot, and take the picture very quickly before others arrived. Even then, I wasn't happy with my picture. This time around the lighting just wasn't good. It was a very cloudy New Year's Day when we took the pictures in this blog post.
