In Fauchon
Only in Fauchon! I had never been to a chocolate and sweets store that had such tight security as Fauchon. There were cameras and burly security personnel on every floor.
I loved the store though. Who doesn't like sweets, anyway? We purchased a couple desserts and we didn't pay more than $12 for them in total. Talk about pretty packaging. I must say, the French and the Japanese are champs at wrapping purchases to the max.
Back in San Francisco, a pastry in a French patisserie would cost twice as much. Hence, while we were in Paris, we just had to take advantage.
How I would love to return to this store and linger!
A pricey box of delectable sweets! I'll take a dozen please!
