Al Bastikaya
During our last two days in the UAE, we toured Dubai on our own and visited as many places as we could. The first of the attractions we visited on the first of the last two free days was Al Bastikaya. This attraction reminded me so much of a Disneyland since it was a recreation of an Arab neighborhood replete with the typical Arab houses and buildings. We didn't linger here much though.
A lot of the houses we saw here had a tower similar to this one. It seemed to me this was very typical of Dubai houses in the olden days.
