Galerías Pacífico

22-Jul-2017 • Buenos Aires Argentina

Galerías Pacífico is a mall in Buenos Aires that I enjoyed visiting often while Marc and I were in the Argentine capital. While we ate in many restaurants throughout the city, we likewise ate here. It was my kind of place, very rich and comfy!

We didn't really shop here. We came here and visited its food court where we had dinner a couple of times. It is our rule when we travel that we don't experiment and go out looking for new places to eat. Often times based on our experience, we ended up in places were either food was bad or service was horrible. Thus every time we were tired, we went for the sure thing. That's just us.

It was here too where we tried our first dulce de leche ice cream from Freddo. I must say, dulce de leche ice cream is to die for. I cannot think of any ice cream flavor anywhere in the world that comes close to this delightful treat.

A mall is a mall is a mall. What sets Galerías Pacífico apart from many malls worldwide is its set of frescos on part of its building's ceiling. The only place I can think off that would be similar to this mall would be the Forum Shops of Caesar's and the Venetian in Las Vegas.
