The Cabildo

Visiting the Cabildo was a no brainer. The building was at the Plaza de mayo and admission was free. I had heard of Cabildos before. In fact, there is a Cabildo in New Orleans and just like this one in BsAs, it was once a government building that was turned into a museum.

It was nice to see that the building had been wonderfully preserved. In fact, it looked new inside and out. I was so touched when the lady receptionist there recognized me and remembered me so well when Marc and I returned for a second visit. She even remembered the way I dressed the first time I went. "You were wearing a fur hat and dark gray coat." Needless to say, I was floored. Of the hundreds of people going in and out of the museum, she described how I looked!
