Our driver and guide during our entire stay in Bali picked us up promptly from our hotel, the Mercure Kuta, and took us to the Bali Airport for our 2 pm flight. He dropped us off at the international terminal. Little did we realize we had to go to the domestic terminal given the fact that we had to change planes in Jakarta. I personally felt bad about the flight that we had chosen since we literally lost a whole day just for our return to Singapore. The silver lining was that we had to wait at the domestic terminal which turned out to be quite modern and beautiful. I specially loved the shops particularly those selling traditional Balinese arts and crafts.
