The second rice terraces we saw in Bali were those in Tabanan. Unlike its counterpart in Tegelalang, Tabanan's were much bigger and more expansive. Our guide, I Wayan Nala, encouraged us to walk through the paddies. We did plan to but we later discovered that the path was muddy and so we decided to just walk along the paved path overlooking the terraces. I must say, the rice terraces were indeed a sight to behold.
