The Conservatory Inside the Bellagio Hotel and Casino Resort

25-Feb-2017 • Las Vegas United States

I recently went to Las Vegas, Nevada to visit family. Like I always do every time I find myself on the Strip, I visited the conservatory inside the Bellagio Hotel. Even though Chinese New Year took place on January 28 this year, the décor inside the conservatory was still about the year of the rooster. It was very nice. I had only ever seen the Thanksgiving and Christmas decorations. The whole set was a hit among visitors. Unlike at Christmas however, there were fewer visitors and there was actually space to walk around the premises.

Like I tell everyone over and over again, I have been to Vegas so many times, I already stopped counting how many times I had visited. I've actually lost count. To be honest, I found Vegas to be less attractive this time around. I actually enjoyed myself a lot more when I went to the suburbs of Vegas and saw places like the Lakes and Summerlin, both upscale residential areas far from the strip. There were fewer tourists and more locals. We even frequent the buffet restaurants in these areas. The food here has always been excellent at a fraction of the cost buffet restaurants along the strip normally charge.

This was the miniature model of a hotel about to be built in Shanghai.
