To be honest, while I consider our visit to Sensoji Temple the highlight of our first full day in Tokyo, other visits to other sights in the Japanese capital were equally important to me. I knew beforehand that I needed to buy a new suit. I bought one a year before also in Tokyo when I went there in the winter of 2015, however, I had lost 15 pounds since and the suit had become loose. Thus, as soon as we finished eating breakfast in our hotel, off Marc, my partner, and I went to Shibuya for me to pay homage to my favorite clothing store in all of Japan, The Suit Company.
Along the way, I asked Marc to take my picture next to Hachiko's statue just outside the train and metro station.

Ginza was definitely a sight to behold with its stores all decorated for the holidays. This was the Bulgari store with what seemed like a snake necklace studded with crystals!

I totally forgot what this monument was called. I do know some locals in Tokyo call it the "Shit building".
