The Sun and Moon Festival

17-Sep-2016 • San Francisco United States

I almost always visit Chinatown every time the Sun and Moon festival takes place. It is a festive time and it is fun walking along Grant Avenue and watching just about everything. The people in costumes, the booths, the food, the lines at the Golden Gate bakery, the shows.

A view of Grant Street in Chinatown during the festival. It was packed folks!

New murals keep popping up in Chinatown. They simply cover the old ones.
