The Apple Flagship Store Opens in Union Square

20-Jun-2016 • San Francisco United States

It's been nearly a month since Apple's flagship store opened in Union Square. The store, though humongous, is very minimalist in design. I saw it built from ground zero. Its site used to be occupied by the Levi's flagship store until it moved to Market Street a few years ago. The old Levi's building was razed to the ground and the newest Apple store was built. On its first day a line of I-phone buyers snaked around the block.

Inside the store. What makes this store very different from all the stores in the area is that it has two floor to ceiling glass doors that can be opened and closed depending on the weather.
