I never realized that Sampaguita, the national flower of the Philippines, could be found in the US too. Called Jasmine in English, I was surprised to see it and smell its very sweet scent from a garden close to my place of work. The presence of these flowers certainly make for a pleasant start of my work day week after week every spring.
