Today, while browsing in a local bookstore, I saw this book, Cool Hotels in America, and viewed a few pages dedicated to the Mosser Hotel.

I was in awe. I have passed by it so many times and I never thought it was a hotel. All along I mistook it for an apartment building close to Union Square. Who would have thought that this rather old looking building with a not so fancy facade made it to such a distinguished list. I say, looks can sometimes be deceiving.
