California is home to millions of Chinese and Chinese Americans. It is no surprise that in San Francisco, the Chinese New Year is celebrated in grand style.

I had the dates wrong. I didn't realize that Chinese New Year was going to be on February 8. It thought it was much later in the month. At least that's how I thought I read the info from one website I visited a few weeks ago. Anyway, it's going to be the year of the Monkey. To be honest, I don't care much what animal it is. I just hope the year will be a good one most especially for me.
