Neither Marc nor I could remember the number of times we had both traveled to Las Vegas separately and together prior to our most recent trip to fabulous Sin City. It's been that many we actually lost count.

I have family here and each time they do not travel to the San Francisco Bay Area to celebrate the holidays with us, we go there instead. Although the strip is fun for me, I suggested that we went someplace new. I had read about Mt. Charleston on Tripadvisor and since it was a quick hour away by car each way at most, Marc was more than willing to go and explore the area. I was glad to see snow and have a bit of a White Christmas, Nevada style. Boy was it cold! Really cold!
